Say hello to GEORGE and LAURIE ……………
…………. husband and wife of 35 years, George and Laurie are the owners of both The Big Chill House on the Waterfront, and The Pool Trust House. They landed in Charleston in 1992, and settled in the quaint town of Mount Pleasant.
Laurie is a Travel Advisor specializing in European River Cruises, International Travel, Expedition Travel, Couples and Family Vacations, and Cruises. George and Laurie love to travel, and they bring an international 5 star experience of the world into their Rental Properties.
Laurie is proud to be involved in local town politics, and works to ensure all town rental properties are safe and legal. Laurie sits on the local Accommodations and Tax Committee for the Town of Mount Pleasant.
She is also proud to have been selected to sit on the Owner's Advisory Council for HomeAway/ VRBO, for the term of 2016 - 2018
In February of 2017, Laurie was awarded First Place in a HomeAway/ VRBO National Contest based upon property improvements affecting “Marketing the Rental”.
George thrived in a high powered corporate career, and then transitioned into owning a large retail multi store franchise for 25 years. Now George is thrilled to greet and welcome arriving guests. George ensures that your stay is comfortable and smooth. He oversees all property upkeep, maintenance, and improvements of the houses. George takes pride in seeing that your rental experience meets, or exceeds, your expectations.
In his spare time, you may find George out on his boat in the local waterways of the neighborhood, or walking his rescue dogs.
Laurie and George have lived in this fabulous town for over 25 years. They are thrilled to share the great LowCountry area with you !
